Our founder, Channel, pronounced like Chanel N°5, was inspired to open Wax Dreamz due to her own journey with body hair. Coming from Afro Latin roots, Puerto Rican & Dominican, she experienced hirsutism – excessive growth of dark or coarse hair in a male-like pattern. Due to this, shaving caused great discomfort and did little to reduce or change her hair growth. But waxing changed her skin, in turn changing her life! This is why she decided to become a licensed esthetician, est. June 2018.

At Wax Dreamz Beauty & Depilation Bar, we offer services to give smooth skin to others so they too can enjoy the benefits, including but not limited to: smoother skin for longer, sporadic hair growth & less hair over time, dead skin exfoliation to reduce ingrown hairs, & skin brightening – great for restoring vibrancy in tattoos! Based out of Sarasota, FL (home of the beautiful #1 beach Siesta Key) & fluent in both English and Spanish, we look forward to providing precision, luxury services to our community!
